Gulf Oil LP, one of the fastest growing branded marketers of energy products in the U.S., and Venture Fuels, a major fuel distributor in the upper Midwest, today announced that their partnership is bringing the iconic Gulf brand back to Wisconsin for the first time in 20 years. With utility rates drastically increasing, customers are looking at the alternative suppliers licensed to sell electricity to Massachusetts customers currently using utility companies such as National Grid and NStar. While customers have a different electricity supplier, the utility company remains in charge of delivering electricity including fixing power lines. Though Massachusetts customers have been able to pick their electricity supplier since deregulation in the late 1990s, many customers don't know what it means to choose another supplier.

This week, Convenience Store News announced Gulf's Pink Ribbon Gift Card as #4 on its list of top Marketing Moves for 2014. The company's Pink Ribbon Gift Card was a new initiative for the Gulf Oil Giving Foundation this fall and is available for purchase at your local Gulf station. For every Pink Ribbon Gift Card purchase valued at $50 or more, Gulf will make a $1 donation to the Gulf Oil Giving Foundation to benefit the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer program. This promotion will generate up to $25,000 a year to help fight breast cancer.
Gulf, a true American brand, is headquartered in Framingham, Massachusetts.
