New retailer platform will put Gulf in front of tens of millions of drivers

Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts – August 15, 2017 – Gulf Oil has teamed up with GasBuddy to connect with millions of drivers, generate new business, and gain a better understanding of the consumer perception and experience. Through GasBuddy Business Pages, a B2B Retailer Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) released at NACS in 2016, Gulf and Gulf distributors will have access to a suite of digital tools and services to help reach more consumers.

Gulf will gain direct access to GasBuddy’s 70 million highly-engaged fuel and convenience store shoppers. GasBuddy Business Pages enables Gulf distributors to review detailed, real-time reporting and gain valuable insight into what consumers are saying about their locations. The GasBuddy solution also allows Gulf distributors to communicate directly with their customers based on feedback submitted through GasBuddy’s new ratings and reviews feature.

Additionally, the platform will allow Gulf and Gulf distributors to benchmark their performance against nearby competition, target and grow their customer base, and become more educated in the marketplace.

Gulf will also be using a wide range of GasBuddy marketing channels including in-app advertising, “Tank Takeover” station events, and GasBuddy user challenges to drive more traffic to Gulf branded sites across the United States.
